Trojans struggle against Kings
RED DEER, ALTA., (Feb. 1, 2019) — It just wasn't the SAIT Trojans men's volleyball team's night.
SAIT couldn't find a whole lot that worked on Friday, as they fell to the host Red Deer College Kings 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-21) in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) action.
The Trojans fall to 12-7 on the season. Red Deer College jumps to 16-5.
Jarett Noel (2nd year, Calgary, Geographic Information Systems) led the Trojans with 15 kills. Teammate Tyler Latu'ila (4th year, Auckland, New Zealand, Bachelor of Business Administration) added 11 kills.
Regan Fathers had a big game for the Kings, recording a game-high 23 kills in the match.
The Trojans and Kings will wrap up their weekend series Saturday night back at SAIT. First serve is set for 8pm.
