Trojans topple Rattlers
MEDICINE HAT, ALTA., (Nov. 1, 2019) - The SAIT Trojans men's volleyball team keep rolling.
For the third straight game the Trojans were perfect, needing just three sets to beat the host Medicine Hat College Rattlers 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-22) in their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) contest.
SAIT, who found themselves on top of the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men's Volleyball Rankings earlier this week, move to 5-1 on the season.
Medicine Hat, a longtime powerhouse in the ACAC's South Division, has had a tough go of it to start the year and fall to 1-4.
Jarett Noel (3rd year, Calgary, Geographic Information Systems) led the Trojans with 14 kills, while Chris Kayser (4th year, Calgary, Bachelor of Business Administration) chipped in with four blocks.
KeAndre Evans led the Rattlers with 11 kills.
The teams will wrap up their weekend set Saturday night back at SAIT's Campus Centre in an 8pm start.
