Men’s team

The Trojans men’s golf team captured the CCAA men’s golf bronze medal, finishing behind the Humber Polytechnic Hawks and the Cégep Champlain St. Lawrence Cougars.
Patel commented on his trip to nationals and what it meant to him to win a bronze medal for the Trojans. “It was a great trip with the boys and Chloe. My favourite part would be the practice round with the team, we were all able to play together and it was a ton of fun,” he said.
He also talked about the work during the regular season to reach this milestone.
“It was a grind to make the national team this year as I struggled with my golf game during the summer and provincial season,” Patel said.
“Then during nationals, I played some of the best golf in my life,” he added.
During his last year of eligibility, Patel fulfilled a career dream.
“It has been a goal of mine to be an all-Canadian the last three years, so to be able to achieve that and a bronze medal was a great way to finish my CCAA career.”
