Trojans still in search of first win
OLDS, ALTA., (Oct. 25, 2018) — The SAIT Trojans women's hockey team continues to struggle.
The Trojans dug themselves a hole, allowing two goals in the first period, en route to a 4-1 loss to the host Olds College Broncos in their Thursday night Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) game.
The loss sends the Trojans to a league-worst 0-5. The Broncos move to 2-2-1.
After going down 2-0 after the first period, the Trojans cut the lead in half in the second period when Shea Dolan (3rd year, Rimbey, Alta., Business Administration) scored on the power play.
That would be it in the way of offense for the Trojans, who allowed one more in each of the second and third periods to come away with the loss.
Elisha Oswald (3rd year, Waldersee, Man., Health Information Management) stopped 19 shots in the loss.
